Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a musical instrument from us online. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Product Information and Availability We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our musical instruments. However, slight variations in color, finish, or specifications may occur. All instruments are subject to availability. In the event an instrument you ordered is unavailable, we will notify you promptly and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund. Unless otherwise stated all instruments are in a used condition. Best efforts will be made to ensure that all marks, blemishes or damage are documented and available to be seen prior to purchse. However it may not be possible to show all imperfections accurately.
2. Pricing and Payment All prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change without prior notice. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase through the payment methods provided on our website.
3. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping Costs: Shipping is a flat fee of £30 and will be added to the total cost of the order
 - Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or unforeseen circumstances.
 - Risk of Loss and Damage During Transit: We will not be responsible for any damages, loss, or theft that may occur to the instrument during transit. The risk of loss and damage passes to you upon dispatch of the instrument from our premises. It is your responsibility to file damage claims with the postage service chosen.
 
4. Returns and Refunds
- Refund Eligibility: You may be eligible for a refund if you request it within 14 days from the date of purchase.
 - Condition of Returned Instrument: To be eligible for a refund, the instrument must be returned in its original condition and in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Any signs of wear, damage, or alteration may result in a denial of the refund or a partial refund at our discretion. If the value of the refund needs to be adjusted we will notify you of this prior to sending payment.
 - Refund Request Process: To request a refund, please contact us at info@cdsguitars.co.uk within the eligible period. A copy of the invoice for the purchase is required. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
 - Denial of Refunds: Requests for refunds will be denied if received more than 14 days from the date of purchase or if returned in a condition that makes it not possible to resell.
 - Exceptional Circumstances: In exceptional circumstances, and solely at our discretion, we may consider refund requests submitted after the 14-day period. Such circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and our decision will be final.
 - Payment for refunds: Payments will be made to the origial method of purchase only. Payments will be sent after reciept and inspection of the instrument by us. Payments will be made in full. Cost of shipping paid by you at the time of purchase is not eligable to be refunded.
 
5. Warranty
As these are used instruments, we are unable to offer a warranty. However, we will take individual circumstances into account and act accordingly on a case-by-case basis.
6. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the instrument; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
7. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

Sale To Us
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before selling a musical instrument from to us. By proceeding with a sale, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These are in addition to the above “All Purchases” terms and conditions.
1. Instrument Information and Inspection We understand that the instrument will be described to the best of the seller’s ability. However, we reserve the right to physically inspect the instrument before finalizing the purchase to verify its condition, authenticity, and any advertised features.
2. Quotes and Final Price
- Quotes: Any initial price quotes provided by the seller are for informational purposes only and are not a guaranteed price or a commitment to purchase the instrument.
 - Final Price: A final, agreed-upon price will be established only after the instrument has been physically inspected by us. This final price will take into account the instrument’s actual condition and any discrepancies from the initial description.
 
3. Payment
- Payment Method: Payment for the instrument will be made via bank transfer.
 - Payment Timing: Payment will be given in full upon receipt or collection of the instrument, after the final price has been agreed upon following physical inspection.
 
4. Collection/Delivery Arrangements for the collection or delivery of the instrument will be mutually agreed upon between both parties
5. Shipping to Us You are responsible for the safe shipping of the instrument, using appropriate and adaquate materials. A tracking number must be provided to us before shipping. This must be at your own cost
6. Risk of Loss and Damage During Transit We will not be responsible for any damages, loss, or theft that may occur to the instrument during transit. The risk of loss and damage stays with you until we have confirmed receipt and inspected the instrument. We will notifiy you of any issues with shipping via email at the earliest point possible. It is your responsibility to file damage claims with the postage service chosen.
7. Condition of Instrument Upon physical inspection, if the instrument’s condition is not as described or has undisclosed faults, we reserve the right to renegotiate the price or decline the purchase without penalty.
8. Return without Sale you reserve the right to have the instrument returned to you at any point before payment has been sent. In the event that a sale is cancelled you will be responsible for arranging shipping back to your location of choice. Instrumnets will be shipped in the original packaging unless deemed not appropriate by us, in which case the instrument will be repackaged appropriately.
9.
